High Plains Communications LLC is a small consulting firm, based in Yuma, Colorado, specializing in a wide variety of services, including communications and public relations consulting, event planning, energy education, corporate process improvement, technical writing, web content and copy writing, and editing.

Owner Jaime Gardner has over 10 years experience working in the public and private sector. She spent nearly 7 years working in a variety of positions for the Department of the Interior and the Bureau of Land Management, both in Colorado and Washington, DC. Jaime has worked in the Office of the Secretary of the Interior, and the Office of the Director of BLM. Most recently, she was a Public Information Officer for BLM Colorado, covering issues in recreation, energy, Congressional and state government relations, and law enforcement. Previously, Jaime worked as a project manager and "troubleshooter" for Lucent Technologies, both in Denver, Colorado and Huizen, Netherlands. Jaime is a dedicated worker, and loves to take on new and different projects that cover any number of interest areas or industries.
